About
I'm Coach Pinkston — a Mental Performance Coach specializing in athletes who are working to improve at all levels.
My work sits at the intersection of sports psychology, performance science, and the practical realities of competitive athletics. I don't deal in theory for its own sake. Everything I teach is designed to be used — in practice, in games, and in the moments when the pressure is highest.
I've worked with male and female athletes of every level of development. I've seen what separates athletes who perform consistently from those who underperform relative to their talent. Almost always, it comes down to the mental game.
My approach is built on three pillars: awareness (understanding what's happening in your mind during competition), skill development (building the specific mental tools and drills you need), and application (making those skills automatic under pressure).
I work with athletes individually, building programs tailored to their specific challenges and goals. Whether you're struggling with performance anxiety, inconsistency, confidence, or the mental side of injury recovery — there's a path forward.
Confidence, focus, resilience — these aren't personality traits you either have or don't. They're skills. They can be developed with the right training.
Every tool I teach has a direct application in competition. If it doesn't help you perform better on the field, we don't spend time on it.
There's no one-size-fits-all mental performance program. Your challenges, your goals, your sport demands — your program.
We focus on what you control. The process. The preparation. The habits. The outcomes follow.
